lower wind shields

pmassey sent me this link and he built them for his new vn1500. They seem to be easy but they mount on the fork part that slides but doesn't matter as they are upside down forks. Will these work on our bike even though they will mount on our forks that could possible hit the seals.

Anyone ever done this or have any suggestions?

Grace and Peace to you!

Those are not upside down forks. They are fork covers that the windshield is mounted to.they cover the upper tubes and are larger than the lowers so they slide up in

^Which of course means you can't mount them like that on a 750 like that.

There are other designs that will work however. Is there a reason you feel you need lowers on your bike?

Could probably adapt a set of fork covers to work

He says he has buffeting and it is blowing his helmet to the point it is trying to come off. Bear in mind he does not have a windshield. I made those lowers for mine for right at $35. They work great. Used 1/4 in plexiglass and the 'P' clamps I ordered from Marsh Fasteners just like the link shows. The most expensive thing was the shipping for the 'P' clamps. They look good and again, work great.
