I am sure the 500th post about a meanie seat.

So my buddy had his stock meanstreak seat and asked if I could use it. After looking around I see it can fit on my bike with a bit of modding so I told him I would take it.

First question, is it normal for the back end to have to be pushed down to bolt it in? and it there usually a gap (about an inch and a half) between the frame and the seat?

Also I have been searching for the last 2 and a half hours, does anyone have a bookmark, or a post they made of a step by step process of putting this seat on? I just want to make sure I am not looking over anything.

the short answer is yes to both questions

to make the seat fit a bit cleaner remove the two little rubber grommets off the bottom of the seat

and make sure to put a bit of a spacer between the seat and rear fender where the tab is so that you don't over stretch the vinyl and rip out the staples
