Installed the Stebel Horn on my sportster and will install the same way on the VN. Got it on Amazon.

Garage
This is an often forgotten upgrade. The "horns" on most bikes are rather pathetic.
They might sound good sitting in your driveway, but up at highway speeds they are hardly audible.
Louder horns are my next project on my Triumph....and I'd recommend this for anyone that still has stock horns on their VN.

I installed one on the front under the headlight. Just added an L bracket. Plugged right in and scared the dog. Very loud. These puppy's are for under hoods not motorcycles so they don't really like water. I covered mine with a chrome car side view mirror cover.

Very good idea. This one is amply loud and now I have to stop trying to find reasons to use it :-)

with the stibil horn you don't need an interposing relay?

I added a car horn to my bike and it would not even engage without an interposing relay and a nice large wire.
