Travel trunk...

Very pleased with this inexpensive travel trunk. I removed the toolbox and bolted the mounting plate to the rear rack and slid on this nice hard trunk.

Great photos. (Love the wife's expression too!)

Tell me -- how do you open the hinge lid when the travel trunk is backed up against the chrome seat frame (sans toolbox)? Is the travel trunk flush against the seat frame?

It opens with a key and although it's almost flush (about 1/4" gap) with he backrest, it almost opens fully. Certainly wide enough for complete access.
