rear tire air adapter?

So its not a big deal, but i recently had some trouble finding a gas station that had the right sort of nozzle connection so i could fill my rear tire -> the clearance just was not sufficient - I ended up having to torque it pretty good and still could not get a nice seal- in short it was a real pain to get to the pressure i wanted.

wondering if people carry around a little elbow that I was missing out on--

Yeap, there is a 90 degree adapter that you can pick up. (Check some of the marine stores too)

One note.. this is an adapter only. There are also 90 degree valve stems you can get next tire change. The adapter can not be used on the bike full time. It is only for checking and filling the tire.

90 degree valve stemps two for $10.95. They say they can be left on, but I question that.
