Hey, Everybody...!

I thought the following was just waaaaay too cool for you to miss out on....

It's obviously not often that something like this comes along that demostrates true creativity, and fits well in the "think outside the box" category.

A retired navy pilot has designed a full-face helmet to pay respects to the retirement of the F-14 jet. It has been recognized as one of the best helmets to come out in 2006. To check it out, click on the following link....be sure to scroll down & see the night effect "afterburners".....

When compared to its competition, it's not priced bad, either!!!...

I didn't realize there were helmets made that had fans built into them.
(Integrated Helmet Technology used their experience from the powered fan in the AFX FX-11 Lightforce ....)
I had done this many years ago with my custom made paintball helmet and it worked pretty good at eliminating a fogged shield. The shield on that didn't lift up. It was solidly mounted.
Never had enough trouble with the streetbike helmet fogging to try it with that though.

Cetainly is an interesting looking helmet.
