Leather Lyke Cross Country Saddlebags for Vulcan 750 or Mutazu GA
I am looking for hard saddlebags that are waterproof and work well with the Vulcan 750. I have seen the thread by Sloppyburpfest with the Mutazu GA Hard saddlebags on Kawasaki F&S bag supports and initially thought this was the way for me to go and purchased the F&S bag supports new ($147.65 shipped) bout 2 years ago and have never pulled the trigger for placing them on my bike with a set of Mutazu GA Hard saddlebags.
Does anyone here have the Leather Lyke Cross Country Saddle bags for the Vulcan 750?
What are your likes/dislikes? Any pictures? Any problems installing them? Will the Kawasaki F&S bag supports work with these saddle bags or you must use their brackets? If I went with Leather Lyke saddlebags is it best to try to sell the F&S bag supports that I have never used?
The price for the Leather Lyke saddlebags is steep at $489.95 before shipping and taxes. Is it really worth it? Are they that much better or that much easier to install to justify the $500ish price (about 1/4 of the cost of a used vulcan)? What would a good price used before the the Leather Lyke bags?
Does anyone have first hand experience with both the Leather Lyke Cross Country Saddle bags and the Mutazu GA saddlebags willing to share a pros/cons of each? Would they be easy to remove if you wanted to check the PSI in the rear shocks because I do not believe you can access the valve when the bike has saddle bags?
Well hopefully viewers will share their thoughts here.
