Question Hand Grips

Hey riders, I have a question about hand grips. I have a friend who has a harley. She has had carpel tunnel in her hands and has a tough time riding for more than a half hour to an hour as the vibration from her bike really bothers her hands. I was wondering if anyone has an idea as to new grips for her to try that would dampen the viberation. Her motor in not mounted on rubber gromets and I don't know if it's even possible to do it with her bike. Any replies would be great. Thanks

One prob could be she is actually holding the grips to tight! I recently started using a throttle boss on the right grip and has helped my problem a lot. You can pretty much rest your "grip" and use the right side of your palm to hold throttle. Am thinking about adding one to the left also, am constantly having to rotate that side back up to allign with the throttle.(they are Kurys). Did not use a hard set glue on the left. You can get a throttle boss for about $6-7 to try!

04-3,200 miles bought July 2011 with 928 miles. Loaded with acessories to many to list here, see my albums for more details! I also make a custom tank bib specific for the 750 if anyone is interested, ck my albums for some pics.

Have you considered a product called "Bar Snake" ? It is installed in the bars, absorbing vibrations......

Grip puppies. They go over the stock grips. Iron butt riders swear by them:

I constantly see ads for Manic Salamander which they claim to minimize the vibrations. Just one more solution to investigate.

Grip Puppies help a lot...

until the carpal tunnel situation gets bad enough that nothing helps.

*typing at this moment clumsily, due to a huge post-surgery splint and dressing on right hand - the aftermath of carpal tunnel release surgery just yesterday*

When I can ride again, I know I'll be glad I put the Puppies on the mc just last week...
