for all those wanting the chrme coolant cover...

DONT BOTHER!!!!!!

You will age 20 years trying to get it to line up right and get it to bolt back on. I have no idea why, but its off just enough that it defies logic on trying to get in back on.

Save yourself and buy some chrome paint and paint the stock black one and leave it at that

i must now go pull out what hair i have left and down a fifth to make me feel better

I have the same problem with the black plastic one. I took the rez off to replace the ACCT with a MCCT and could not get the rez back on with the cover on it. I tried pushing down and the bolt holes just would not line up. I think it looks just fine w/o the cover IMO.

I only understand what I don't understand.

My black one was apita, and so was the chrome one, a couple things right there has to line up, the rubber grommet the bottle itself sits in may not be centered, even the brake cable going behind it in that grove may hold it out a tad! Try drilling the hole out a bit that holds it on so it lines up easier.

04-3,200 miles bought July 2011 with 928 miles. Loaded with acessories to many to list here, see my albums for more details! I also make a custom tank bib specific for the 750 if anyone is interested, ck my albums for some pics.

I got one from another member who had it installed on his VN750.....and it was a PITA to get on properly for me too. I had to elongate the hole for the mounting bold, and had to use a longer bolt.
