saddle bags

I was wondering what most of you had for saddle bags.I saw some on a site that advertises on here, Jafrum, and wondered if they are as advertised and woud be an easy install. I have the brackets but wondered if I would need to relocate my turn signals. The bags I wa slooking at are sd4036 on their website and are 13.5 in. long by 10.5 wide by 6 in deep. If anyone thinks these will work I would love to here about it. Also thay are only 59 bucks and are leather. Thanks

Hi Spock:
My son bought a set of those bags from Jafrum. I think they will fit fine on the Vulcan, they should sit just in front of the turn signals. You may lose the abilty to use your helmet locks though.
The bags are small for practical applications, but you could at least carry a lunch to work or some items home from the store.
I was a little disappointed with the quality. The leather is quite stiff and the stitching is mediocre. That may be how they are priced so low. They may have problems with getting wet, and would not keep items dry in the rain. I think for the money, they would be ok utilitarian bags. You would not have to be nervous about something scraping them or a blemish, like a high end hard bag.
Most bags of useful size require the turn signals be relocated to fit well.
I've seen them on sale from time to time for as low as $35.00. I think the studded bag looks better on the Vulcans than the plain.
Well, that's my 2 cents. Hope it is some help. Good luck and ride safe.

Assuming you are referring to mine?

It is the smaller version of this one:

Dunno if still available anywhere though. Had it a couple of years now.

Has worked well for me!

well i have already checked their bags but i'm not satisfied with them. Their bags don't look natural and durable.
Please suggest ant other company that would be the best..
