Just want to let you know about a jacket that I found.
It is called the Blacktop Jacket
and made by Duluth Trading Company. A lot of the stuff they have is made from fire-hose material. Well, this jacket has an outer shell of the same material. And a good lining.
This morning was the first morning it was cold enough to wear it. When I left, it was 55 degrees F, and I was getting a bit warm just standing there. But when I got going it was perfect. Never felt the wind, other than the place where my glove snuck out of the sleeve. Lots of pockets, zipper on the sleeve to tighten the cuff, and very comfortable.
If you do order it, make sure you get a size smaller or so. I am 5'9", 180 pounds, and I got a medium. Sleeves are perfect for the form on a bike. No binding at all.
Oh yeah, I do not work for them, just passing this along.
