Helmet Camera

Anyone have experience with helmet cams?
We are going on a 9/11 tribute ride this year to ground zero and thought one might come in handy.
Checking out this one:

Don't want to spend much more than the $179 asking price.

I have the regular version Hero cam(not HD). I like it. The quality is good, not nearly as good as the HD version I am sure. Looks like this:

It comes with plenty of mounts so you can put the cam in lots of different places. Like the fender:

The waterproof case actually works, Mounted it on my dirt bike with no problems.

A friend of mine also has the Hero. It is a great camera.

Mom, I'm not wearing my helmet only for the purpose of taking this picture and
the background was digitally blurred to make it look like I'm going really fast.

The Hero is a good camera. Nice and durable. Lots of accessories.

My friend uses his dirtbiking all the time. It's taken lots of tumbles and has held up well.

I use the Countour GPS. I like it's sleeker look but the software/firmware was buggy at first. I think they've resolved most of those issues now.

It has treated me pretty well. I haven't used the GPS function that much, but if you do, you can track your location, speed, and elevation. After its loaded on the computer you can watch the numbers change alongside the video with the included software.

I checked prices every where. It was 179.99
I scored one on E-bay for $143 plus $15 for the handle bar mount
The seller has since changed the price to $179.
