Leather Tailoring/repairs

To all you Vulcanites in the south, there is a lady in Austell Georgia that is the best leather worker I have ever encountered. I bought a used Fox Creek Jacket from a fella in PA and this guys arms were REAL long. Only paid $100 for the jacket (normally $650) and called Fox Creek re: altering the sleeves. They gave me this lady's name and for $75 she redid the sleeve zipper and cut the sleeve length for an exact fit. Anybody interested PM me and i will give you her number.

If you live anywhere there is a "shoe repair shop" , many of them will charge you little to fix zippers, seams, linings etc in motorcycle leather. Tailors usually do not have the heavy duty machines for sewing thick leather, but shoe repair dudes do...........

This is ALL this lady does. She does several racer's leathers after they have gone sledding. Her sewing machine looks like a miner's jack. She is great.
