Turn Signal and Helmet Lock Re-Locator HELP!

Ok So I made up my own turn signal and helmet lock relocator bracket based on the F&S ones. It looks like its gonna work, the signals fit into the bracket and all but i have one small question about bolting it up to where the original signal spots are.
First there's the weird one big hole that the signal rubber goes into, and then there's the tapped hole that secures it. How does this piece get 2 bolts in then??

Look at this picture and see the highlighted bolt spot.

Anyone that has put these on their bike, is it supported by two bolts there? How did you manage it??

Thanks.

I would say that the bolt that goes in the larger hole has a spacer and large washer on it to just hold the bracket straight and then the other just threads where the marker light was.

Nice job on making the relocater!

There are two bolt holes in the back of the bracket mount. I believe these were where the helmet locks mounted originally. One is threaded and the other needs a flatwasher and lock nut to holt it. In the kit, as shown in your first picture, chrome round head Allen bolts are used.

I'm keepin' all the left over parts. I'm gonna use 'em to build another bike!

I dont think so, the helmet lock holes are down to the right of the red square in the pic. I have the holes in the bent part to mount the helmet locks to the new bracket, but i can't figure out how the bracket is bolted with 2 bolts to the side there. One is in the tapped hole that the turn signal was screwed into, and the other is in the weird oblong hole it twisted into but its not tapped.

As I said above...get a larger bolt with a lock nut and large washers and a spacer that fits the larger hole. It could be a round rubber spacer that will fill the hole and when you tighten the bolt with the large washer on the back side, it will hold the bracket in place. Any hardware store will have something. Then the other bolt secures it also.

Whoops, yes, I'm wrong. Should have bent over a little more and would have seen it. Baldy is right on on how it mounts.

I'm keepin' all the left over parts. I'm gonna use 'em to build another bike!

I will try to rig something up, thanks baldy.

There's a thread,
https://www.vn750.com/forum/showthrea...ghlight=Mutazu

and here he has F&S saddlebag supports, but his are different than mine. Mine have a bend outward in them. I am guessing are for softbags?
And they bolt right into the side of the bike, so they dont bolt onto my turn signal relocator bracket as in the other pic.
I am hoping i can still make these bolt on and work with my new hard bags.
My bags are very similar to the mutazu ones, http://www.visionsonlinestore.com/se...ags/Categories

Anyway since my bags have a bend in them, the bottom part isnt flush with the bolt top section, so i wont be able to mount hard bags like that, so i am making spacers to fill the difference and make it flush. Do you think that will work??

Look at the pics for demonstrations.

If you need the F&S brackets, I may have an extra pair. Have to check.

I'm keepin' all the left over parts. I'm gonna use 'em to build another bike!
