Large Engine Guard

Does anyone make a large guard that fits with no mods? All of the ones I have seen on Ebay, and a few other stores are fairly small oem style guards. I am looking for one that sticks out past the ears and almost as tall. Thanks.

I would like some old school "Harley" style bars too, but the only bars available are Ma Kawi`s Fire and Steel and the similar styled ones by Wingerline. I have looked at my bike and just don`t see any way to fabricate what I want , and be able to install it on the frame.

Something about that wide or a little wider, but as high as the top of the radiator or at least to the bottom of the air cleaner.

While researching engine guards it seemed to me that it was either OEM or mods. I don't know of anyone that has a different aftermarket guard that didn't need to mod. I found one for the mean streak that doesn't belong on the meanies. It seems to be the most universal one out there for cruisers as it attaches to the bolt that holds the rear break bracket to the frame down the bottom on one side and the same (clutch) bracket on the other. It attaches to the bracket that holds the horn on up at the top. The cool thing about it is it doubles as high way pegs. Here's a link to one that's close to the one I have only the top portion on mine has 2 holes for mounting not one. As the VN750 has 2 horns, you may want to look at the one with 2 holes. I just couldn't find it after a quick look. It this kinda what you're looking for?

Bare in mind I didn't pay hundreds of dollars either. I found a guy online getting rid of his cause he "didn't like the look" and got it cheap. Hey said make an offer, I said 50, he said 70, I said sold. If you like this one I don't think you'll have trouble mounting the top. The bottom might be a little wide for the 750 but that might be solved with something as simple as longer bolts and a couple lock washers. I moved my horn to the left side of the bike where I found a random hole in a frame cover. I fed the wire right behind the radiator, plugged the horn back in, and bolted it on. The engine guard install and horn relo took a total of about 15 minutes - I certainly wouldn't call that a mod so much as minor improvisation.

Ah...I thought you meant as tall as the air filters were...not "up to the air filter" in height.

NP Asbrand, nice looking bike by the way.

This is the style I am looking for.

I know it probably wont be exactly like this, but I have also looked at the bar that LibertyPilot posted, its just not my style and way out of the price range I am looking to spend. If I could get a deal like he got, then I might get it and try to fab something up. My heart is pretty well set on the style that is in my picture listed.
