Forward Controls?

So in a feak wind storm my bike went over putting a softball size dent in the tank andbroke my foot peg and brake pedal. Is there an option available to push the contols more forward I am fairly tall and could use the room? now is the perfect time while they need replacing anyway.

I don't remember which one was doing the forwards but I know krebs ran into a really hard time right about the same time he stopped posting here. I guess someone could try PMing them right?

Yeah He just kind of disappeared. Something just didn't seem right about that deal. I feel sorry for the ones that put money in to buy the Original set because the way it looks Krebs got an Original set paid for by others.

^ Wait so several people here went in on Jardin forwards, they went to krebs for fabrication and duplication, and he vanished?

^ yup thats exactly what happened... I see pieces of his vn750 all over eBay... he has been parting it out slowly over the past several months.

As far as a set of homemade controls go...

This is an exploded view of all the parts needed... you would need to take mesurments off of your bike and scale to fit.

yeah I'm kinda in a rush and I'm more of a welder than a machinist. Haha Sounds like a good plan but it's time to ride so i guess i'll just find some new pegs and maybe follow up this winter with the forward control idea

that forward control idea is more welding than fabricating.. the cams are old foot controls cut to fit, the new foot controls can either be fabbed, or find some cheap ebay controls and weld them to fit on the pivot shafts.
