Mounting A Vetter Windjammer to the VN750

Some of you may know, I became the owner of a Honda CX500 a few weeks ago, so I been looking at ideas for modding it for my wife. She really wants a gold wing, so I was thinking of adding a Vetter Fairing and some hard bags, mod the seat, and do a few other minor things when I ran a crossed this article on how to mount the fairing, In one of the pics the guy is using a VN750 .

You might also look for a circa '82 Silverwing fairing. It was a Honda touring/commuter from 500 to 650 ccs (I think). They were pretty good looking...slimmer than the Windjammer.

I do LOTS of dumb stuff. Riding is only one of them.

Actually that is what I was looking at, and a link I clicked just pointed me to the windjammer for installation instructions. From the info I have found on the CX/GL500/650's they have a lot of common parts between them, the only difference is the frame, the CX's use regular shocks, and the GL uses a mono shock, but pretty much the rest of the parts can be swapped. My idea is to adapt the silverwing interstate package parts to the CX, and was just surfing to see how hard this would be with out actually having the bike and the parts in hand.
