Jafrum pro/con

Prices are outstanding!
Searched this site and the most recent post I could find was 2006. Any current opinions on Jafrum products....specifically saddlebags & leather jackets?

Uuuh, uuuum, uuuuhh (a little embarrassed). Could you post a link or some links for jafrum products? My leathers are being held together by stitches (the ones I put in, not factory) and wife thinks it may be time for a new one.

Their jackets (at least the ones I looked at) don't seem to offer any armor or padding. The prices are good though if you don't want more protection.

I'm keepin' all the left over parts. I'm gonna use 'em to build another bike!

I have ordered from Jafrum several times. Never had a problem. I got my textile jacket, helmet, and first pair of gloves from them spring of last year. I'm very happy with all of them and have recommended them to others. I most recently ordered a pair of chaps from them as well as some child leather jackets. All seem to be very good quality compared to the price. I was set to buy myself a jacket from them too, but I found one at leatherup.com that I liked better. Leatherup.com is also another good place for inexpensive leather and saddlebags. As I said I just got a jacket from them a few weeks ago, VERY nice for the price and I also got my saddlebags from them last year. Both jacket and saddlebags were X Element.

Mom, I'm not wearing my helmet only for the purpose of taking this picture and
the background was digitally blurred to make it look like I'm going really fast.

Back a few years ago they only sold the ceapest cr*p. They actually sell some name-brand stuff now.

I bought this jacket about three years ago I think, very well made, and it accepts my CE armor from my Joe Rocket mesh jacket. It comes without armor but has the inserts built in for armor. Price is still pretty unbelievable for the quality of the jacket and good leather. I bought it pretty large so I could wear a full hollow fill winter coat under it. It does come with a liner but you don't gain much insulation with it. Fieldsheer products are good quality from all the ones I've seen and heard about, and the price is right...

I bought a very nice leather jacket from them, it is armored (lightly but armored nonetheless), removeable liner, vented front and back, lots of pockets, and reflective piping. Find your size then buy 2 sizes larger if you want it to fit. Their stuff comes from Pakistan where people are small compared to here. I paid $79.95 and it is a very nice coat!

Bought leather pants from the too and they were nice. Again, buy 2 sizes larger then you think.

You can buy Level 3 CE replacement armor here:

I recently replaced all the armor in my jackets (that needed it) Some "Armor" was just dense foam. Not multiple layer foam.

I suggest upgrading your back protector, as this seems to be the one piece that is always a bit skimpy in many jackets...if it is only single layer foam.
