Mike's Custom Grill - Backwards?!

Am I missing something?!

My grill from Michael Smith arrived today, but it seems to have been stamped backwards. "Vulcan, Kawasaki" etc. is on the back (rough) side. All the lettering is reversed on the front (silver-smooth-burnished) side, as if I am holding it to a mirror.

Did anyone else have this problem?

(I'd add photos, but I'm having trouble uploading. Gremlins?!)

There should be a protective plastic film on the grill, did you remove that to expose the shiny surface? That's most likely the problem, all the grills were cut exactly the same and we have not heard of this problem from anyone else. Check out the plastic film and let us know.

Yes, peel off the protective covering from the side that faces out. I actually opened a box of the covers at the machinist shop to make sure there were no mishaps. Took me a minute too, not gonna lie. Yeah, after you peel off the protection it looks great. Oh yeah, and its not backwards anymore either - bonus.

Mine arrived today as well, removed the white protective film to reveal a beautiful cover! I have to admit they turned out better than I had envisioned. Yes - PLEASE POST THE PICS OF THE GRILL ON YOUR VULCAN"
