Interchangeable windshields

Greetings. I currently have a National Cycle Plexifairing III on my '05 VN750. It's a great fairing and works very well, particularly during the cooler months...really stops the cold air from getting me.

Only problem is that during the warmer months, it also works very well...too well, in fact. I'd like to have a fairing or windshield for the summer which directs the windblast off my chest, but still allows some air flow for cooling.

What I'd really like, in fact, is a system in which I can switch between a large windshield when it's cold and a flyscreen or small windshield when it's warm. NC, I believe, makes the Switchblade system which is designed to do that, but I don't know if it will fit on a VN750.

Does anyone know of a switchable windshield system which will fit on my bike?

Thanks in advance for all responses!

Bob

NC streetshield EX.. I have one.. was thinking of gettign a plexifairing, lol... I have decided I want a permanent shield with more coverage, but I will keep my streetshield for now as it's already paid for and I might be getting a new bike next summer...

Yep, the PF is a great fairing...works very well indeed and, at least on my bike, does not induce any weird handling issues even at high speed. It'll do well for you...but have a plan for a smaller window for summer...that's what I'm attempting to deal with now...
