Good show Jeff. I took my stock horns off when I installed the Stebel. Covered up the hole in the front with a plate and an ornament. Here it is take a look.

I take it that you mounted your airhorn under the ear on the left side. If you like I'll be happy to send you a pic of that too. Something to be said about one of our members who's got the slogan about keeping all the leftover parts and building another bike

Nice try on the sound clips, but I respectfully have to say that the stebel clip doesn't even get close to what that sounds and "feels" like in person! Camera microphones have built in noise limiters that clip the sound in db's so it won't overdrive the recording. In person the stebel can be compared to lightning striking you on the head where the stock horn is a cap gun.

X2 fergy, these little 1 1/2 inch computer speakers don`t have chance of delivering a fraction of the sound that a horn delivers, especially an air horn.

i totally agree fergy....this sucker is loud...a short chirp is all i can handle. dont want to get the neighbors mad either. i wouldnt want to be beside it for a full blast...lol

my have to take it out on some back roads and try a full blast.

ive seen where others were wanting a comparison, so i thought id give one sinse i was installing the stebel.

Jeff, you did great! I was just wanting those without a stebel that listened to that clip to understand its much louder than that clip can play it.

I was in the right hand lane on the highway one day when a lady in a minivan next to me on my left decided to change into my lane. Before I had the opportunity to meet her front right tire I blasted my Bad Boy http://www.wolo-mfg.com/air.htm ($39.95 Harbor Freight). Out of the corner of my eye I saw her swerve hard to the left and heard a loud crunching noise behind me.
Later it got me thinking. I don't think she saw me giving her a one finger wave and what was that crunching noise?

The vehicle on her left or guardrail she swerved into?

I'm keepin' all the left over parts. I'm gonna use 'em to build another bike!

It couldn't of been the guardrail. She was in the second lane from the right side of a four lane highway.
So I'm not too sure.
