Plexistar 2 Mounting Pics

I've looked here and can't find the detailed pictures I need to get this %#@*& windshield mounted where the hand extensions cover the grips AND it doesn't rub something! Anyone know where good, detailed pics are?

I'm keepin' all the left over parts. I'm gonna use 'em to build another bike!

Thanks, lance. Like the others I've found here there just isn't enough detail. What I need are closeups of the brackets. Where and how they're mounted, length of adjustment, etc.

I'm keepin' all the left over parts. I'm gonna use 'em to build another bike!

I have the same shield... again. That meaning I had swapped it out for the Street Shield EX before riding into the ditch - which killed the EX. (insert group sigh here) Now I'll be using the Plexi 2 for the road trips. Nice thing about it - once the hardware is set on the forks and handlebars it goes on and comes off in about 30 seconds.

It took some patience and little tweaks here and there to get that thing to:
  1. Sit just a hair over the headlight
  2. sit behind the directionals without hitting them
  3. get the angle set in line with the forks
I can tell you this... it won't cover up the grips like you see in other pictures. I learned this shortly after lining everything up. Our handlebars sit higher, so it will be less directly in front than just a bit below. But it's enough to deflect I assure you.

I don't have the screen on the bike now, but here are some pics of the hardware as it is installed - ready for a quick mount. (in two parts) Hope this helps.

Thanks! Wish I'd had those when I started this frustrating process! Need to post these somewhere so others can at least start out with the brackets in the right position! Phots are extremely helpful!
