Mirrors - Stock or Not

I am now considering replacing the stock mirrors. Something bigger would be nice - more of a view. Who here has done that and with what - including pics please. It's hard to decide when all one can see are the mirrors not attached to anything.

I replaced the stock ones with a pair of $25 rectangular ones I got at a Honda stealership.

Couldn't be happier. Much better vision and IMHO, looks much better, the round ones just yell old.

Replaced my stockers for these....
(the smaller one is a convex passing mirror, bought separately)

I like them better than the round ones. Gives a little more view and, IMO, the shape goes better with the bike.
Got them from eBay, but I don't remember what they were for.

There are a few folks, including me, that got these mirrors:
http://tinyurl.com/r4g9go

They have a very slight convex curve, so you can see a bit more .... but not with making everything look too small.

There is a photo of them on my bike here:

(sorry not very good photo of them)

The good part for me was they were only 19.99 when I bought them, and the bad part for you is the price seems to have gone up....but still a good set of mirrors for the price. They don't give your bike that "insect antena" look the way the stock lollipops do.... they have a sleaker profile and a good view to boot.

I bought square ones on e-bay as well. I'm particular though, I didn't want plastic so I shopped and shopped until I found metal ones. They fit great and look great. Got them at this ebay store: http://stores.ebay.com/Rusty-Riders-LLC

Paid 18.99 for them.

Here's the pic:

What's funny is when I was looking to find one of these bikes, a guy I talked too at a stealership (who didn't have one at the store), said he used to have one and he loved the mirrors on the bike, cuz they let him see more then anyother bike he had been on.

i've been fine with them, but most my experience with mirrors is a R6 which are worthless and a ninja 250 which aint bad, and this bike, and I have never lost a car in my mirrors on it.
