Rear suspension swap

I know have a 91 Vulcan with a 4" drop using solid struts. I'm building a rear seat and fender and would like my suspension back but I don't want to use the stock stuff sons offering they raise the bike much higher. Is there another set of shocks I can use for the rear that are lower from anther bike.
