What is this part that fell out of rear wheel/drum housing

So i removed rear wheel and brakes and found this on garage floor. I am bagging and tagging everything i remove and was left puzzled.

I am not seeing it on the exploded view for rear brakes or wheel? Ideas on part in hand. Solid cylinder with a hole like for cotter pin.

Looks like the pin that goes into the rear brake lever, on the rear wheel. Adjustment rod goes through the hole.

Fits into the hole at the far right of your pic.
