Angry Fork seal question

So I am about to replace my fork seals..... If I ever get a day off work again. I was cruisin around here a few days ago and came across a thread where someone posted a link to the fork section of their clymer manual. Of course now that I have time to look at it, I can't find the thread any more. 😠

Anybody have any idea what I am talking about?

No but you can download the manual from here.

Find Roach's youtube page, he has a fork rebuild video.

My tip, loosen the damper rod bolt on each fork before you remove the front wheel. It may help to heat it some, Loctite was used on the threads. Some people tend to strip the heads on those bolts.

Finally!

I finally got a day off work and replaced my seals! the old ones looked like they had cancer. luckily everything on the inside was still in really good shape.

thank you for the links and tips. it went really really well. the only problem i have now is that i think the bike is pulling to the left a little. i need to get out on a side street to make sure. i am guessing i just need to make sure the forks are perfectly aligned? hints tips and tricks are welcome!

i also found the part of the clymer manual i was looking for...
