Front brakes locked

It appears my front brakes are locking up. I place the bike in first and accelerate. The front end nose dives then moves then the tire stops rotating. The bike was fine getting off the trailer the oter day and driving up the driveway. I'm checking through the manual. The bike is parked on a side street. Silly me thought I could unfreeze the brakes by muscling the bike up the street. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sticky calipers, collapsing brake line, dirty/plugged port in the master cylinder.

Didn't haul it home with the 5' bed? Forget what Ford model that is. We started to think you got squashed loading the bikes.

I borrowed a trailer. It went up nicely and came off the same way. I tried the hammer thingy...where you threatened to bang the sh** out of it, the bike becomes numb with fear and releases. The brake lever wasn't moving but now it's workable. Checking the manual on next steps.

Sportrac! Just saw one for sale.

If it's been sitting a good while, the brakes could free up on their own. If not, some TLC is needed.

Might peek in the master cyl. and see if it looks dirty. I've only run into collapsing lines on cars. On the calipers it's usually the pistons needing cleaned up.

Truck is running like a champ. I bought an adjustable hitch on sale at harbor freight for 24 on sale from 59 I think. I wish I had a garage. If I take the brake line off shouldn't that release the front wheel. Won't that tell me if it's the caliper? The master brake reservoir fluid is clear.l and the lines appear normal.

loosening or removing the lines at the caliper should release brake, unless the caliper(s) are frozen.

if it does release, then its either the hoses, or the master cylinder

Yes. If you remove the hoses the calipers should back off a bit. If not, it is the cylinders. Remove the calipers and you can use an air hose to push out the cylinder.
