? about Prog.412s

Recently got a pair of Progressive 412s 11in. and I noticed the bottom mounting bolt hole is welded off center unlike the top bolt hole. Can anyone tell me the reason for this. I want to make sure Im bolting them on properly. Thanks Paulywog

I can't tell you the reason for sure but I assume it is to line them up correctly...so they will be perpendicular to the mounting bolts. I have mine installed with the bottom mount closest to the wheel. Been working fine like that for several thousand miles now.
