Cant decide which ones to buy.....the mt66 are like 200$ free shipping and the 230 are around 130 free shipping....
Any opinions?

Other than the price what is the. Best choice?

Got my Shinko's on today, stock size, neither tire needed to be balanced. Took it for about a 20 mile ride to scuf them in, did seem to be smother, time will tell. MC Super Store came thru, best price and Fast shipping--Thumbs Up!!

Bought Metzlers this time around for my VN900. I always rode with MT66's and loved them. They held up in the rain.

I'm on my second set of Shinko 230's. Living in Washington St. I have to be able to ride safely in wet conditions. I got 12,000 miles from my last rear tire, and the matching front is still going strong at 15,000 miles. I expect to get 16-18,000 out of the front. They track well in rain and standing water, and are really quite sticky in banking and turning. Compared to the factory stock tires, I really prefer these. Also, 80 bucks for a rear tire? Any day! I got a whole set of new shoes for my bike for less than a front tire name brand. Bottom line, I sweated buying a tire on the cheap, but, I'm very pleasantly surprised by the quality of these.
