Front Brakes seized after sitting a while.

I had a gas leak and didn't have time to deal with it and I had another VN750 to ride. Now I have the time but when moving the bike I met with resistance and it looks like the calipers on the front wheel are frozen closed and the bike will not roll without forcing it and then it moved reluctantly aobut foot. The bike has set for a looooong time. The indicator lights show the bike is in neutral but the engine is not turning over as fast as it should (fresh battery). I don't know what I'm in for but input would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Butch

I once had that issue....pulled / Inspected -cleaned the calipers....flushed the lines....ABSOLUTELY new fluid / Bled the brakes.
If your brake lever is not returning 100 %.....clean out the "PIN" Hole (an air return hole) in your Master Cylinder.
Also, remove any rust which maybe on your rotors.

rusty caliper bores, or collapsed brake hoses can do the same.. not as common, but still possible
