I checked someone else's and it's about the same as mine. I guess that's how they are so I'll just deal with it and fix my rear brake spring instead. Thanks. Don't waste your time looking Wolfie. I could use a cheap choke cable though.

If the front switch works thusly - as the lever is pulled in the "pin" extends out, activating the brake light.....you can just file a bit off the end of the pin so it extends sooner. Take very little off at a time and check how it functions.
