Tire fitment

I was looking to get tires and I wast the widest rear tire that will fit. I wanted to know if the 180/70 X 15 fit the vn750.

I just put a Shinko 230 wheel on mine which was 170/80 x15. I like the ride a lot over the stock size. I think 170 is the max which is why I went that way.

Stock rim and fender? Nothing rubs at all? Just wondering 'cause I'm gonna need tires soon as well and I also want the widest I can put on there, but it would drive me crazy to have it rubbing on other parts lol.

1985 VN700 unknown mileage (over 33K)

AGM Battery
Iridium spark plugs
NGK wires and caps
Relocated R/R
Marbled

If your bike ISN'T lowered it shouldn't rub at all.

My bike isn't lowered so I haven't had any problems with the 170 at all.

Nobody said the swing ARM would rub, it was mentioned that the center stand might.
