Spline lube

Wow! I just read Fergy's thread on spline lubing. Though I have always done my own repairs, that one looks like a Gremlins Nightmare and not sure that I would want to tackle it. One of the things that I was in favor of purchasing a VN-750 for was the shaft drive. Though I have to admit that Fergy did one heck of a great job with his post that would make it a much easier job. I added that post to "My Favorites" for future use when and if I do purchase a VN-750

It's really not as bad as you may think. I did it when I replaced my tires last year. The DIY that Fergy wrote makes it a snap.

Agreed, it's really not that bad or time consuming, it just looks that way with the details written up so well.

Haven't done my VN yet, but did it once on my Yamaha, no sweat at all.

Garage
I did it last year...took about an 2 hours in total. It really isn't that hard to do.
