A Little Help With Calipers?

I need to replace my pads and lube the slides tonight. Anybody know if the rubber end on the slides pushes back through the caliper housing? That's all I can gather from looking at parts diagrams and Clymers.

I don"t get your queston but there are plenty of you tube vidoes on motorcycle brakes that could help you out.

If I Understand you correctly... NO.

The rubber pieces stay pretty much where they are.
Just slide the two pieces of the caliper apart. Might be a little tough if they are all grimed up. One note, you'll need to get the pads out of the caliper before the two pieces come completely apart. You'll need to open up the caliper a bit to get the room to be able to tilt the pads out.

......I'd rather wake up in the middle of nowhere then in any city on earth.
