steering stem size?

anyone got an idea as to what size the steering stem is on a 750?

a guy i know is selling a custom front end, with billet slabs, and a 1" stem, just wondered if it would fit, or whether the kwak stem can be fitted to the slabs instead?

Garage
upper bearing is Inside DIA 28mm Outside DIA 52mm
lower bearing is Inside DIA 25mm Outside DIA 47mm

I am not sure on the length of the steering stem. Also I have not found any bearings for converting from metric to standard. The only thing I have found to make a Harley Tripple tree work is to get a Harley neck.

on another note.. a 1986-199? VN1500 BUBF front fork set up will bolt up with the aid of a spacer to take up slack in the steering stem.

no problem.. what size fork tubes are the Harley ones? ours use a 38mm fork, so yu might be able to use just the tubes.

no idea what size they are.
wouldnt think they would be much different to over there, though.
however, these slabs have kwak legs in, so hopefully should be a straight swap.
