fogged brake window : front master

Front brake window is fogged up. What are my options?
Do newer ones use glass windows?
Should I just bolt on a vn500 or vn900?

Garage
Make sure the master cylinder is perfectly level, remove the top carefully, and fill the reservoir up if needed to about 1/8 inch from the top.

Make sure the top diaphragm is pushed back, and replace the cover.

Unless you are leaking brake fluid somehow , you should not need to check the level for quite some time.

I find the window useless because you can't really get the reservoir lev without loosening it up on the bars and turning the just-so.

So always check the level as I described above.

I bought a replacement glass widow on ebay. Its about the size of a quarter and just siliconed in. Kinda expensive for what it is, but none of the plastics I tried failed eventually.
