Longer Brake Hose

I am putting 12" mini apes on my 2004. I am told that the only thing I need to replace is the brake hose because the stock one is too short.
From what I read, I need something between 23" and 25". Any ideas on where I can order one?
Thanks.. John G

Yea, I know of them. The little problem I am having is that I don't need a stock OEM brake hose for the bike. I need a longer one.
I was thinking that so many guys have put 12" mini apes on their bikes that somebody must know where I can get the correct brake hose.
Thanks!

You could go with a 21 in but to be safe heres a link to a 23 inch I used the same hose just longer for my 18in apes. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_no...+in+brake+hose

You can get this and add length to it. It spendy, but looks real nice when installed

stainless brake lines

There used to be an auction on Ebay for dual SS brake lines selling for about $89 IIRC. I`m not sure if it was this same supplier or not, but they have a dual set for $89 too. Doesn`t specify a particular model or hose length though.

The OEM brake hoses are recommended to be replaced every 4 years on the maintenance schedule.

From what I have read, the SS hoses give you a firmer more consistent feel and more reliable stopping power.
I believe they are also less costly than Ma Kaw`s hoses.
