1992 front brake drag

Hey guys, a minor issue with my new (old) 750, im having issues with the front brake dragging.

Yesterday i was going about 40 and all of a sudden there was a massive drag, then by the time i came to a complete stop the brake lever was bound up (i couldnt pull it toward me it was that tight andthe front tire was locked up tight

once I let the pressure off by releasing the bleeder valve i was able to get her home by using the rear only. SO i put new fluid and bled it off, but something is amiss cause once i use the front brake there is drag until i bleed it off again.

Thanks for any help

I had a similar issue w/ my 750, but I observed only on a very hot day. I solved the problem (with brake cylinder cover removed) by cracking the bleeder valves for a 8-10 hours, allowing an occasional drip, allowing any _stubborn_ air bubble to vacate. I believe the hot weather w/road heat expanded any air bubble within the line, thus applying my brakes. Topped off fluid level and reassembled. I have not experienced this problem since.
Good Luck

The OEM hydraulic brake lines are recommended to be changed every 4 years.
I wonder if they could be deteriorating on the inside.
These SS lines will last the life of your bike, and may cure your problem.
I know at least two members here have installed them and like them.
