Before and after Progressive Shock Snapshots?

Anyone happen to have some good before and after pictures from the same angle after lowering the rear end with new shocks? I know a ton of people have done this, but I'm wondering visually how much difference there is.

Anyone have complaints on the handling afterwards?

Mine are supposed to be delivered before the end of this week. They look a bit different than Deuce's. These:

You can order the shocks with chrome or black springs, and chrome or black upper and/or lower collars.

The all black ones look cool.

I'm actually considering the same set and would be interested in how your experience is with the install. I know there are some sizing issues with different Harley shocks, but these look like a pretty good deal. It SEEMS like a pretty painless install though. Definitely let us know what you think.

I have the Progressives on both of my bikes and love them.
I'm 5'8'' and it makes a huge difference to me.
Install was easy enough, by putting it on the center stand.
The only draw back is, it is a little harder to lift the bike onto the center stand after, because it ls lowered.
They should come with an assortment of bushings.

Here is the review I promised. Very short version is that I don;t like them. I will be switching them back to the OEM shocks. I could probably make someone a decent deal on some very slightly used shocks.

Here is the long version. First, the install was really easy. I have a bike stand which made it even easier, but the center stand would be almost as good. 15 minutes max. I did notice that the mounting holes are slightly larger than the OEMS. There is a tiny amount of play that goes away when you torqe down the nuts. None of the included sleeves or inserts fit on the shaft.

Adjusting the shocks. You have to have the special tool to do this. Since it is just stamped out of sheet metal you would think they would include one, but no, I had to go out to the Harley shop. $11.55 incl tax.

The bike looks GREAT lowered. It puts the seat at the same height as the seat on my 1500. I really wish I liked the ride. To me it is teeth-rattling. I think they are made for lighter weight. I am just on the + side of 300 lbs. I could only ride on the two higest settings without bottoming them out, and it was so stiff I didn't enjoy the ride. Some of the others models are more expensive and may have been better choices.

If someone wants to try these I would sell them for $150 shipped including the adjustment tool.

I don't understand why you wouldn't just buy the shocks that Progressive specs for the vulcan. Mine came with the proper bushings and adjustment tool.
Part# 412-4232C
or 412-4233C for the heavy duty.
