Question Lowering Links

Any comments on a product like this??

Price seems decent enough.

Is there reason to lower the bike (short legs etc)? or just for looks? If just for looks I would not lower the bike.

Mostly for looks. So ... on what do you base this advice; Personal experience with lowering kits or just a personal preference?
