Progressive Suspension Fork Lowering Kit

Hello,

I've got two days ago rear shocks 11" and Suspension Fork Lowering Kit #10-1553 from Progressive. I wish to lower the front forks but it is not clear for me what I have to do in order to lowering them. The kit includes a long spring, two washers, two small springs and two PVC tubes. During change of springs I am going also to change the old oil. So I have next questions.

1) What I have to change in order to lower the front on 1" 1/2 using my kit?
2) What should be oil level from the top of fork cap? (The Progressive instruction talks that it should be 5" 1/2 (140mm) but I am not sure that this level is correct for VN750)

Best Regards,
Vlad
