who has the cheapest stock rear tire?

I'm trying to find the best price on a stock rear tire. Bridgestone Exedra 150/90 - 15. I just got this bike 3 months ago and the tires are still like new. Yesterday I noticed ive got 2 nails, yes 2 nails. anyone know were the best price is? I found 1 for $119.00 on J&P cycles, but that doesnt include SnH. thats an extra $19.99. Any suggestions???

you might want to try

www.motorcycle-superstore.com

they have the best price on tires that I can find and any order over $75 gets free shipping! also there are cheaper tires for the vn750, that some people on here are real happy with. me, myself, I go with the ones that cost a little more(like Metzeler), but I feel that I'm getting what I pay for too. also you may want to go with the next size up (170/80-15) a lot of people here have done this and say it is way better than the stock tire.

That's the place I was going to suggest. I've bought my last few tires from them without any problem.

Dennis Kirk is worth a look too, they'll be anybody's advertised price, though I don't know about shipping costs.

Ron Ayers too might be a good place to look.

(These are all just suggestions.)

I bought Metzler 880's at ronayers.com and got both with shipping for less than $160. They have great prices and fast shipping.

As for Motorcycle-Superstore: I refuse to shop there again after they absolutely toally blew me off on my 2 complaints. Even management who insisted that they could speak with customer service and have them get back to me and have done nothing! See my updated post under Vendors for the details, but as for me Motorcycle-Superstore has seen the last of my money. Too many good sites out there that will back up what they sell not sell you returned merchandise that they didn't inspect and won't correct.

Right HERE
$74.95 w/ free shipping. I run Kenda's on both my bikes. Great tire and long life to them. Highly recommend.

What you want is not the cheapest tire, but the best tire for the least amount of money. Remember, that tire is carrying your life. One thing to watch out for is sometimes those cheap tires just don't last as long. They may be a softer composition and will wear a lot faster then a harder composition tire.
On and about those nails? Be sure and add RideOn to your tires. It will handle those nails you may pick up and help keep your tire balanced.
Nothin worse then a nail in a brand new tire!
