Has anyone used this brand of tire? Any first hand info about it?

I have been riding on the Kenda Kruz (110/90-19 fr, 170/80-15 rr). I have about 8k miles on them and would recommend the tire. They have handled great, rain or shine, and seem to be wearing well.

I wonder why these are not as popular as the Metzlers. I like the sound of these and the looks. 8000 miles and wearing well sounds okay to me for the price.

Thanx for the replies.
I think that I will go with a set of them. No faster than what I ride and the type of riding that I do, they will work great for me. The price is right too.
I think that I will go with the regular size 100/90-19 up front and the 170/80-15 at the rear. I am going with the k671 cruiser street.

I bought mine from JCWhitney also about the best price around. Did a lot of shopping on the internet before I bought them. I cannot give an opinion at this time because they are not mounted on the bike yet. Bought them because I had to fix a nail hole in the rear time, had ride on in the tire but had to add more to keep it from leaking. They were close to being worn out, so I bought them before I needed them. That was because I did not know if the rear tire would stop leaking. Still waiting to put them on, maybe another two thousand miles.

Kenda makes great products. I run them on my bicycle along with 700 Vulcan.

I don't have the K-671 Kenda CRUISER ST TIRES, but I do have the K-673 Kenda Kruz tires. If the 671's are as good as the 673's, you'll be more than happy. I bought my tires Here Best price I found.

I looked at the K-671's, but they don't list 110/90-19 front, which I wanted.

Last month I paid $110 shipped to my house for the K-673 Kenda Kruz tires.

I don't have alot of miles on them yet but what an awesome improvement over the Dunlops.

Metzler has been around for 100 years or so, Kenda since 1962. That could be part of the reason.

I also have the oversized Kenda's since last week and they seem great to me so far. Also a funny thing - kenda also makes EPDM rubber for flat roofs.
