Question Noise from Front of Bike

Howdy Folks --

There is noise coming from the front of the bike in the vicinity of the front wheel. The noise only occurs when making a very tight left turn. I noticed it when practicing left circles in the parking lot. It does not occur when making right circles or when going straight.

The noise seems to be in sync with the wheel speed but is not a steady sound. That is, it comes and goes as I'm making the left circles. It is not very loud. I could be wrong but it has a metalic quality to it as if something is intermittenly touching or brushing against the brake disc or fork.

Recent changes: I recently had the forks off to replace the fork seals. At the same time I replaced the brake pads and the brake fluid. The noise began immediately after these changes, so I think it maybe associated with one of these changes. Brakes and forks seem to be working fine except that the new pads have just a bit of brake squeal when first applying the brakes.

I'm concerned that it might be something serious. Any thoughts on what the noise might be?

Many Thanx!

The noise should go away once the brake pads have worn in, nothing to worry about.

Yep, there was less noise when I rode today today.

Thanx, Lance!
