So I replaced the clutch plates tonight and got on the bike to start it and while in neutral I could feel it pulling forward. I put it in gear and with the clutch in tried to start it again and again felt it pulling. turned off the engine and left it in gear. Pushed it forward and it makes a "popping" noise like an old gear and pulley (click, click, click). Is the transmission gone? Any help.

Where you been all this time ?....

You either installed improperly (usually the center actuator shaft), or ya need to readjust yer cable....

Did ya place the last plate in one notch over ?....

Willin to bet its 1 of 2 of those 3....prolly not a cable adjustment....
