Final drive leaking?

Working on my 2 bikes, new tires, moly on the splines etc. I set the final drives on my bench inner side down while things were apart overnight. I've never seen a leak on the bikes and I've ridden them each at least 5k miles. When I went back to the parts today, one of the final drives seems to have left a fair sized puddle. The other doesn't seem to leak, but there's oil dampened gunk collected around what looks like a weep hole.

Which seal or o-ring has failed, and how hard is it to change without very basic tools? Thanks.

Edit: I don't think it's 92055 / 92055-1044 because it isn't leaking out the front shaft from what I can see. ( https://www.vn750.com/forum/showthread.php?t=47834 )

There is a vent hole that is near the top, on the side where the splines to the rear tire is.. maybe it leaked from there?

Garage
^what he said. If you laid it down on its back it will leak out the vent hole.

Put it back on the bike, drain it by the bottom bolt and refill it with synthetic gear oil.

Good, that saves me a lot of time and money. Thanks. I wonder why only one of them leaked though. They both have oil. Unless the vent on one is plugged...
