final drive compatibility with vn750?

Are there any other kawasaki models that use the same final drive as the vn750? I ask because of the price difference in the vn750 vs kz750, zn700, zl600 but the final drive looks pretty much the same and engine size is close? Any info to.help me save that$$$ is much appreciated.

Look up the part number (kawasaki parts) and Google the number, it would show what's its compatible with, which I believe is nothing. Aside from the Vn700

Pretty much just the vn700 and all the years of the vn750.

more than just size/shape. the drive coupling size/number of splines, as well as gear ratio, and the way they engage the rear wheel (different diameter coupling/number of splines.

...the 700 drive is the same as the 750...main differences are from the bottoms of the jugs up....
Buddy name Chris is parting out a 700 near Peoria (he just posted it in sell/swap)...bet you could get the entire unit, tranny to rear for $250+ ship or so....including the driveshaft....mebbe less....talk to him...yer about 3 hrs south of him..."mebbe" 4 if yer one of them that obeys the limits.... ....day trip....

I bet NewRider'd even do the drive with ya....
