My misdiagnosis

I previously stated that placing a band aid to cover the square hole on the final drive would define where the leak was coming from. But I was wrong, the leak got worse. So I pulled the wheel and dicovered that the cavity where that 3" wheel shaft spacer goes had an excess of gear oil. Cleaned it up and inspected and saw that there is a slight separation where the ring gear shaft butts against the final spacer. And that is where the inner oil seal is, (I presume from loooking at the parts diagram.) Has anyone replaced that inner oil seal without any special tools? Sure do hope that the forum gods don't get on my case for posting this continuing problem!!!

I have not performed maintenance on ring gear area.
I would be intrigued to investigate the parts diagram for the seal you speak of, would you provide a part number of this seal ?
