What Does A Slipping Clutch Feel Like.

Ok, I've have some carb issues & I know I'm ironing them out. However, I've read recently that a slipping clutch on this bike feels like the bike is "bogging" down at higher rpms & throttle. I have NO idea what a slipping clutch feels like.

I read thru the repair manual & it clearly tells you what to look for as far a wear (which I have not checked yet) but no description as to how it feels while riding.

The Versus is very vague on a slipping clutch & searching the forum is not giving me the answer I am looking for.

What symptoms am I too look for?

Twist the throttle, and it will rev up and not accelerate as you would think it should. That is the tac will climb, but the speedo stays about the same (might even decline a little). Then when you let off the gas and gently eas into the throttle again, it should accelerate just fine.
