Front bevel gear

I've discovered a leak at the front bevel gear case. Is it possible to remove it without draining all the oil first? It's fresh oil so I'd rather not mess with draining it if I can. Could I just tip the bike to the right side so all the oil collects away from it?

nope.. you have to drain the oil.. get 2 clean coffee cans and a couple of coffee filters... drain the oil into one coffee can, then filter the oil into the second can with the coffee filters.

Darn. Oh well. Is a single coffee can big enough to hold all the oil?
